Reception Highlight [Faith & Jim]

Faith & Jim, my friends from church for a long time, got married in Korea, and held another wedding reception for their friends and families in the U.S. 

It was different from other normal weddings where there’re obvious shots such as bride & groom preparing, walking up and down the isle, wedding vows, exchange of rings, and etc. And I haven’t made a highlight video out of just the reception. 

Anyways, the reception was great. Our church’s gym never was a good place for a wedding reception because first of all it’s a gym, one big rectangular warehouse-like space, and the front wall is painted ugly with royal blue with nothing on. But with the drapery behind the couple’s table and those lighting decorations, it looked very nice in fact. 

It was a “budget” video and only two cameras (one camera operator, myself) were used, XH-A1s on a tripod, left without a camera operator, and I was moving around with a 7D.
