Random Shots while my GTI is getting an Oil Change

I started coming here since I had a bad experience at a Certified Tire store, when they broke my hood latch while doing an oil change and kept trying to do nothing about it.  I couldn't trust just anyone with my GTI.  Although this Kim's Auto place is pretty ghetto (makes me wonder if i'm in Orange County or Idaho, and if i'm in 2009 or 1985) the owner, Mr. Kim, is one of the happiest people i've ever met.  He's just always happy and smiling. 

When I first went there for fixing the broken hood latch, he said it would save me time & money if i go buy the parts from dealer myself.  If i take my car for a brake job, and he sees the brake pads have some more life, he would tell me i can leave them on for a couple more months.  If I take it to other places, they will say i need to fix not only brakes, but this and that and so on.  The place is not close at all from where I live, but this is the only place I go.
